Me
I'm currently entering my final year at UMass where I'm majoring in Mathematics (concentrating in Pure Math) with a minor in computer science. I've been using FreeBSD since 1996 when I became a sysadmin for a small ISP in New Hampshire. I've been somewhat of an OS junkie, having used every OS I can get my hands on (Some in emulated form):
- FreeBSD
- Windows (3.1,95,98,NT,2000,Me,XP,2003)
- NetBSD
- 4.2-BSD
- 3-BSD
AT&T UNIX V6
- Linux (Fedora,Debian,Slackware,Archlinux)
- HP-UX
- Solaris
- SunOS
- (Open)VMS
- ITS
- Tenex
Mac (OS <X and OS-X)
- Many, many more
Although I'm still searching for the perfect OS, the BSD family is, in my opinion, the best of the UNIX variants. This, combined with my desire to descend into the guts of the OS, has led to my participation in Google's summer of code.

My project is adding Journaling support for the UFS(2,3) file system.
