Panasonic Let's Note CF-RZ6
This is a subnotebook manufactured for the Japanese domestic market. They can be bought in Akihabara for very little money. It has a higher-resolution screen than some ThinkPads more than three times the weight, and the hardware isn't too exotic. It's a great on-call machine.
This page is a work in progress.

3. Notes
3.1. Suspend/resume
Works from FreeBSD 13.0-RELEASE onwards, with these considerations:
Set hw.acpi.lid_switch_state=S3 in /etc/sysctl.conf.
Video will not return on resume unless drm-kmod is used. You can still cleanly reboot by typing shutdown -r now blind, or SSH in if you lock yourself out.
Trackpad will not always return on resume unless you add hint.psm.0.flags="0x6000" to /boot/loader.conf to enable HOOKRESUME and INITAFTERSUSPEND. Thanks Kazutaka Yokota for explaining in the psm(4) manpage, and Jung-uk Kim in freebsd-mobile.
As far as I (RubenSchade) can tell, Wi-Fi and Ethernet both work after resuming without further config.
